Sleepytime Cubs

These guys spent the better part of the 12 days I was in Yellowstone up in these trees. I did see them on the ground with their mother at times but more often then not they were in the trees. Mom keeps them there for safety and she is never far away...which is something some foreign tourists discovered when they got too close to the tree. It is actually pretty funny to see abject terror on the faces of ignorants. The bear bluff charged but the 10 or 12 stylishly dressed tourists did not know that when they went hell bent for leather back up the hill...and we all know running from a bear is never the wisest of plans. We were a good 35 miles from Mammoth at the time and I will wager that half of them did not stop until they got there. LMAO.
