Grizzly on the Prowl

This big boy has a kill (a Bison calf) in the sagebrush just a few feet from this spot. When he hunkers down on the kill, you can not see him. At all. That is about 18-20 inch tall sagebrush. That is precisely why I do not hike in Yellowstone in Spring.
