Griz Family

Caught this clan while photographing a harlequin duck pair in the creek by the Soda Butte picnic area in the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park. When I saw them running towards me I at first thought they were bison, which is dangerous enough by itself. When I realized it was a grizzly bear and 3 cubs the pucker factor instantly tripled. Luckily, they veered south towards the mountain and ran past me at a distance of about 150 yards.
