Great Blue Heron Pair

This pair of Herons are building a nest. The cooperation was unbelievable. The male would fly off and gather twigs and then fly back to the nest and tenderly and carefully place the twigs in just the right spot. While he flew off on another gathering mission the female would remove those twigs and put them where SHE wanted them. Every single time.
