European Starling

Starlings are the Rodney Dangerfield of the bird world. These highly disrespected birds actually can be quite beautiful when the light strikes them right. Differing shades of blue and purple set against their black plumage casts an iridescent glow about them. They also eat insects. LOTS of insects. That makes them alright by me.
