Glacial Lake

A lake in the Cascades in Washington state. There are parts of this state that are unequaled in their sublime beauty. At the same time there are areas (especially what I saw on the Olympic Penninsula) where the logging companies have just raped the countryside. Entire mountains are denuded of trees. You can drive mile after mile and be truly sickened...and the logging companies have billboards bragging about all of the good they are doing. Money can buy anything. I will probably never go back to that state. It took a week for my jaw to unclench.
